The launch of Infinera’s CLOUD XPRESS in September 2014, saw Zonic facilitate and organise media pre-briefs with Infinera’s key spokespeople at a VIP location in Hong Kong and EMEA. Press and analysts from across APAC were flown into the city, where they were able to interview executives, hear the news first hand and in turn enable Infinera to secure a foothold in the APAC region.

In March 2015, press and analysts world-wide were simultaneously invited to NDA pre-briefs in advance of the announcement of PACNET’S FIRST NETWORK VIRTUALIZATION FOR THE OPTICAL LAYER USING INFINERA’S OPEN TRANSPORT SWITCH .

In just under 2 weeks, Zonic successfully coordinated briefings, press conferences, face to face meetings and conference calls for top tier press and analysts in Singapore, Japan, Korea, India and EMEA delivering standout results.

Alongside the traditional editorial coverage, Zonic organised a filmed case study featuring Pacnet and Infinera’s VIP executives which was then seeded with key online media and amplified through social media channels.   During launch week tweets were also translated into Japanese and Korean and tweeted out over the period to continue the news momentum and sustain interest with Infinera’s key regions in APAC.
